Hi, I’m Stephanie Clemente — a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for helping children and families through aba therapy and parent training, & guiding future behavior analysts through remote fieldwork supervision in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
I live in Rock Hill, South Carolina, with my husband, our teenaged son, and our 12 year old daughter, who has level 3, non-vocal autism and an intellectual disability. As a neurodivergent Behavior Analyst with ADHD and a parent of a child with high support needs, I don’t just understand the challenges — I live them. That personal connection gives me a unique perspective and a deep sense of empathy when working with families and supervisees. I know firsthand how meaningful progress isn’t just about data — it’s about creating real, positive change in everyday life.
My love for behavior analysis didn’t happen overnight — but once I found it, I was hooked. Here’s the path that got me here:
✔ B.A. in Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis concentration) – 2021
✔ Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders – 2021
✔ M.A. in Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis concentration) – 2023
✔ Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) – June 2023
✔ Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – August 2024
Since stepping into the ABA world, I’ve worked with kids ages 2 to 14 with autism and ADHD in homes and community settings. I’ve handled assessments, created behavior plans, coached parents on reducing their child's challenging behaviors, supervised technicians, and collaborated with other professionals. I have experience working with children with challenging behaviors including elopement, aggression, self injury and property destruction. While I’ve worked in clinic settings, my heart is in home- and community-based services — where real-life learning (and sometimes the best breakthroughs) happen. I value continuing education in the field and growing my knowledge and competency. I am also a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) (Find me in the registry here, and learn more about this certification here)
I’m here to empower parents with the tools and confidence to support their child’s development — and to help future behavior analysts grow into ethical, skilled professionals. Progress looks different for everyone, but meaningful progress is always possible — with the right support.
So, whether you’re a parent looking for guidance or a future Behavior Analyst, let’s work together to make it happen.
